Film program

In 2010 the sixth edition of the Libertas Film Festival drew over 5,500 film lovers from both Croatia and the world to the town of Dubrovnik with a population of 45,000 The sixth edition of the Libertas Film Festival featured 8 film programs with over 100 films from all over the world adn enriched its program by including the following: Children’s program – in cooperation with Ale!kino, Poland’s largest children’s festival, Libertas showed 28 Polish and 47 Croatian animated short films; the screenings were free-of-charge For the first time ever, a round-table discussion was organized to discuss the law on co-productions in Croatia Two workshops: Master Class Session, where young filmmakers were able to learn from one of the best photography directors of today - Dante Spinotti; and Animation Workshop: where the world renowned animated filmmaker Jasminka Bijelić Ljubić assisted the members of the 1st Dubrovnik Film Club in creating a short animated film Visitors from all over the world were able to follow the short film program on the international online film platform MUBI, which features only the biggest film festivals such as those in Cannes, Venice and Toronto
